Allen Porterie is an actor, singer, writer and scholar based in New York City.

Allen Porterie (he/they) is an actor, writer, and arts worker whose practice lives at the intersection of performance, scholarship, and arts management. They are currently working as Assistant Company Manager (NMAM) at Death Becomes Her on Broadway. Most recently, Allen worked in Marketing with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and served as Company Management Assistant on the 2024 revival of Gypsy. Allen holds an MFA in Performance as Public Practice from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in English and Theatre from Cornell University. His work, both onstage and behind the scenes, centers care, collaboration, and the creation of spaces where artists can do their best work.
